MiniStor and Probono, a shared path towards the green transition
Bringing novel energy storage technologies to the European homes requires addressing the complete value chain, including regulation and certification entities. In an effort to complement fruitful partnerships such as the European Construction Technology Platform (ECTP), MINISTOR has found a companion in PROBONO, another Horizon 2020-funded research focused on Green Buildings and Neighbourhoods (GBN).
This relation is based on shared priorities of integrated solutions for digitalisation and monitoring of efficient buildings, resilient communities for the green transition, and stakeholder engagement from industry to households to take into account the comfort and wellbeing of homeowners. Moreover, both consortiums can rely on trusted partners for the built environment, CARTIF and the University of Santiago de Compostela.
In their common interest in efficiency, PROBONO and MINISTOR expect to share upcoming dissemination and stakeholder engagement actions, gathering more than sixty organisations from seventeen countries. Not only that, they will benefit from the valuable experience of MINISTOR’s clustering activities with projects D2EPC and RENAISSANCE, focused on energy certificates and energy communities respectively, as well as PROBONO’s sister projects oPEN Lab, an initiative fostering positive energy neighbourhoods, and ARV, which seeks circular communities in Europe.
